Space Fox MUCK is an invite-only, text-based roleplay community centered on life aboard a single freighter traveling through deep space. It runs as a MUCK, a telnet-based chat environment with features for interactive play, and is designed for people who want to participate in its specific setting rather than a generic space-themed roleplay. The community aims to support a limited crew, with members expected to take an active role and engage in regular roleplay. New players must know an existing member who can vouch for them; the invitation policy reflects both the ship’s limited capacity and the group’s focus on committed participation.

Space Fox MUCK welcomes characters of all species, despite its name. Its documentation introduces the setting and theme, outlines community policies and behavioral expectations, and provides detailed setting information. It also offers character ideas, information about existing characters, and guidance on MUCK-specific features and commands. These resources help players understand the community and develop characters suited to its shared, shipboard science-fiction setting.
