SPAD is a personal-services organization founded in 1987 and serving the Arlysère area in Savoie, France. Its mission is to help older people, people with disabilities, and those who are ill or recovering from an accident remain at home, excluding nursing care. More than 100 trained and qualified employees provide tailored support according to each person’s needs and level of independence.

Services include assistance with everyday activities at home and during outings, as well as household cleaning, minor home repairs, and gardening. SPAD also offers prevention activities for people planning their retirement and a varied program of leisure activities, held at its premises or outdoors. Flexible, occasional services are available to suit different needs and circumstances.

The organization emphasizes respect, discretion, continuity, and individualized support, with a named contact to coordinate and monitor each client’s services. SPAD is the only organization in Savoie certified under the Cap’Handéo SAP standard, which recognizes accessible, local, quality services adapted to individual needs
