Spargo is a grocery-shopping comparison service from Retailor that helps shoppers find the supermarket with the lowest total price for their shopping basket. Users can enter a shopping list or select products from a catalogue, and Spargo matches items with products at participating supermarkets. Rather than comparing prices one item at a time, it calculates the combined basket cost and ranks stores by total, showing the potential savings between the cheapest and most expensive options.

The service offers four features: Basket comparisons, AI-generated meal plans designed around price, a standard weekly basket for tracking supermarket prices, and savings comparisons across stores, products, or combinations. Its examples include everyday groceries such as milk, bread, meat, coffee, fruit, vegetables, and pasta, with comparisons across Lidl, Netto, Rema 1000, and Føtex.

Spargo’s website states that the displayed prices are demonstration data and are not yet updated live, so its sample totals should not be treated as current prices.
