About SPARK Museum
SPARK Museum of Electrical Invention, located in Bellingham, WA, offers an exciting and informative experience for visitors of all ages. With innovative programs and a world-class collection of artifacts from the development of electricity, radio, and technology, the museum aims to educate and entertain. One of the highlights at SPARK Museum is the MegaZapper Electrical Show, a live-action science and history performance perfect for families, school field trips, and couples seeking a unique date night.
The show features eye-popping machines reminiscent of Frankenstein's laboratory, including the centerpiece 'Cage of Doom' created by renowned sculptor Ric Allen. At the end of the show, brave audience members aged 18+ can step into the Cage of Doom and experience volts of loose electricity from one of the largest Tesla coils in the country. In addition to the show, SPARK Museum also offers group visits, virtual tours, educational resources for teachers, and field trip opportunities.
The museum is open from Wednesday to Sunday, 11 a. m. Plan your visit to SPARK Museum of Electrical Invention and discover the fascinating world of electrical innovation
