Spârleni

Crama Spârleni is a Romanian winery rooted in the Drăgășani wine region. The current team took over the winery in 2003, continuing a local winemaking tradition associated with the Urșianu family, whose history in wine dates to 1892. The winery tends around 30 hectares of vineyards in Drăgășani and Gușoeni and produces approximately 90,000 to 130,000 litres of wine annually, including about 40,000 bottles bearing Drăgășani controlled-designation-of-origin status.

Its range is organized into Sani, Selecții and Cromos collections, with wines in styles from dry to sweet. Offerings include Romanian varieties such as Tămâioasă Românească, alongside Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Gris, in white and rosé styles. The winery emphasizes balanced wines and a light-touch approach to winemaking, aiming to let each wine develop its own character.

Customers can browse and purchase wines through the online shop, which also features vineyard and winemaking supplies. Crama Spârleni operates retail locations in Drăgășani and Râmnicu Vâlcea, where customers can buy its products in person.
