Sparrow Dementia Care Consulting helps families, care partners, and professionals support people living with dementia through practical guidance and a compassionate, person-centered approach. Founded by Sara Martinez, whose family experience with Lewy body dementia shaped the work, Sparrow emphasizes that cognitive change does not erase a person’s identity, worth, or capacity for connection and meaningful experiences.

Services include personalized dementia care coaching, with practical skills and tools tailored to each stage of care. Sparrow also offers family and private-care training, team development, and certified programs. Training options include Teepa Snow’s Positive Approach to Care®, which prepares participants to become PAC Champion Care Partners, and the Alzheimer’s Disease & Dementia Care Seminar®, an eight-hour course that fulfills the education requirement for applying to become a Certified Dementia Practitioner through the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners. Seminars are available online or on site, with corporate discounts and pre-conference training options.
