SPARX Board Co. is a skateboarding and lifestyle brand based in Danville, Virginia. Established in 2012, it was created from a shared love of skateboarding and is built in memory of Austin Hunter Sparks, whose creativity and spirit continue to shape the brand. Guided by the message “Progress over perfection,” SPARX aims to make products that carry encouragement, purpose, and reminders that people matter.

Its collection includes skate decks, complete skateboards, trucks, wheels, bearings, grip and hardware, as well as apparel such as tees, hoodies, and kids’ clothing. Designs feature messages including “You Matter,” “Be Kind,” and “We Rise By Lifting Others.” The brand also offers distinctive vintage marble-wash pieces, made with special dye and mineral-wash treatments.

Beyond its products, SPARX supports a community centered on skate sessions, creative collaborations, youth programs, and mental health awareness. It partners with To Write Love on Her Arms, a nonprofit focused on hope and finding help for people facing depression, addiction, self-injury, and suicide.
