He holds a Masters degree in Geospatial Information Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. With an impressive career at Google Inc., Ujaval played a crucial role in the launch of Google Maps for India. He has also led aerial imagery teams and acted as the lead trainer for Google Earth Engine in India.

Having left Google in 2020, Ujaval founded Spatial Thoughts to pursue his commitment to education. His training materials are widely used globally, reaching over 100 universities and benefiting more than 10,00,000 users. Ujaval is also a co-author of the open-access book, Earth Engine Fundamentals and Applications.
