Speak Up is an Egyptian feminist initiative that was established in July 2020 to combat sexual harassment and violence in all its forms. Our main mission is threefold: to raise awareness, support victims, and provide free legal and psychological assistance. We also receive testimonies from survivors and share their stories with the public.

Since our inception, we have expanded our focus to include a wide range of gender-related issues and causes, playing a direct role in influencing women's empowerment and the enactment of legislation to protect women's rights in Egypt. We have launched numerous impactful campaigns against harassers and rapists, many of which have gained viral attention and led to the arrest and accountability of these individuals. At Speak Up, our goal is to create a safe community, free from all forms of gender-based violence.

We are committed to providing the support and solidarity necessary for victims of violence while also advocating for legislative changes that ensure a violence-free society where women can thrive. Join us in our mission to empower women to speak up and break the silence
