Spectrum Hearing

Spectrum Hearing is a Derby-based provider of professional ear wax removal, offering convenient home visits across the city and surrounding areas. Its service is delivered by a qualified, NHS-trained audiologist with more than 10 years of experience, who is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and affiliated with the British Society of Audiology and British Academy of Audiology.

The company specialises in microsuction, a gentle, water-free technique that uses magnification and controlled suction to remove soft or hard ear wax. Appointments include an assessment, treatment when appropriate, and aftercare advice, and typically take 30 to 45 minutes. The service may help people experiencing muffled hearing, tinnitus, earache, a blocked sensation, dizziness, or itching. Home visits cover Derby and nearby locations, generally within a 15- to 20-mile radius, with evening and weekend appointments available by arrangement.

A home visit costs £80 for assessment and removal from both ears. If no wax is found or removed, a £40 consultation fee applies.
