Speech Moves

Speech Moves Speech Pathology is a privately owned practice supporting children’s speech, language and literacy development in Stockton, Newcastle and Port Stephens. Founded by Tricia Linstrom, a Hanen Certified Practising Speech Pathologist with a Diploma of Children Services, the practice provides goal-focused, evidence-based programs tailored to each child’s communication needs and abilities. Services are available in the clinic, through mobile visits and online telehealth sessions. Speech Moves also partners with preschools and schools in the Newcastle and Port Stephens areas.

The practice supports children with a range of needs, including receptive and expressive language, speech sound development, stuttering, literacy and reading difficulties, late talking, autism, and frustration when communicating. Its family-centred approach involves working collaboratively with families and other members of a child’s support team. Speech Moves aims to deliver current best-practice intervention and empower children, families and the wider community through communication. Its work is guided by values including respect, compassion, trust, integrity and authenticity, alongside ongoing professional development to keep its interventions informed by current evidence.
