Speech Steps

Speech Steps Therapy is a mobile speech pathology service based in Sydney’s south-eastern suburbs, supporting children, teenagers and young adults with communication needs. Owned and operated by Certified Practising Speech Pathologist Kristina Vulkanovski, the practice provides assessment and individualised intervention in clients’ homes or educational settings. Its family-centred, functional and neuroaffirming approach is designed to help clients build communication skills in familiar, comfortable environments.

Services address receptive and expressive language, speech sound development, social communication and play, and literacy skills such as reading, spelling and writing. Speech Steps Therapy also offers assessment and intervention for Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), including support with communication methods and robust, high-tech solutions. Therapy is tailored to each client’s needs, goals and progress, with families supported throughout the process.

The service operates on Thursdays and Fridays and covers a range of suburbs across Sydney’s south-east. No referral is required. Speech Steps Therapy is registered with Medicare and major private health funds, accepts eligible Chronic Disease Management Plan referrals, and works with self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants with approved funding for speech pathology.
