Speko is a voice AI infrastructure company that helps teams build and operate voice agents for users who speak different languages. Its platform benchmarks speech and language models across 14 languages, comparing their performance rather than assuming that models ranked highly in English will work best elsewhere. Speko says it measures 92 models and finds that different models lead in different languages, helping teams choose based on their users’ needs.

The hosted Router provides a provider-neutral data plane for speech-to-text, language models and text-to-speech. It uses managed routing to select models for each session and offers typed contracts through its API. Speko also provides Gateway, an open, customer-side runtime for voice workers, with integrations for LiveKit and Pipecat. Developers can connect directly to providers using their own credentials or use Speko-managed routes, and can access the Router through OpenAPI and AsyncAPI contracts. The platform includes model benchmarks, documentation, a developer console and API access.
