Spessartperle Revival

Spessartperle Revival is an equestrian event welcoming riders, support crews and spectators to a long-distance ride through the scenic Spessart region of Germany. Its second edition is scheduled for July 4, 2026, reviving a ride that was formerly held under the organization of Ritta Hebben and Inge Harbach. Inspired by original route maps, the organizers recognized that the historic course closely resembles their regular training routes and decided to bring the event back.

The revival offers participants an opportunity to ride together, enjoy the landscape and share memorable experiences with fellow endurance-riding enthusiasts. The website provides practical event information, including directions and the starting area, route maps, starter and results lists, event regulations, answers to common questions, and contact details. It also introduces distance riding, a discipline in which horse and rider cover long routes while managing pace, terrain and endurance. Veterinary checks at course checkpoints help monitor horses’ fitness and welfare.
