Spherical Golf

Spherical Golf is a golf instruction and learning project created by J. Douglas Byrd, focused on helping golfers understand and develop an effective swing. Its approach, called the spherical golf concept, encourages players to learn the swing path naturally through body movement. The site brings together instructional resources for golfers seeking practical guidance and a more enjoyable game.

A central offering is Connecting the Dots: A Golf Student Primer, an e-book presenting lessons Byrd says he wishes he had known earlier in his golfing life. The one-time purchase includes nearly 200 pages of e-book material and 50 videos, with additional video resources and information about the spherical golf concept. Visitors can view samples before purchasing.

Spherical Golf also offers online lessons, the Spherical Swing Academy, golf drills, instructional videos, and membership options. Its media includes written guidance and selected videos intended to help golfers identify useful instruction for their game.
