The Sphinx Organization is a social justice brand dedicated to transforming lives through the power of diversity in the arts. Based in Detroit, Michigan, Sphinx aims to increase the representation of Black and Latinx artists in classical music while recognizing excellence in the field. From beginner students to seasoned professionals, Sphinx offers a wide range of programs and services.

These include year-round tuition-free education, performances, and tours by premier ensembles and soloists, as well as commissioning and performing new works by Black and Latinx composers. Sphinx also provides administrative leadership programs, cultural innovation initiatives, and partnerships with over 300 organizations to bring programming to a national scale.
