SpiClub

SpiClub La Rochelle is an independent sailing association welcoming anyone who wants to enjoy sailing in a relaxed, recreational setting. Based in La Rochelle, the club enables members to sail throughout the year among the nearby islands and beyond, whether they are beginners or experienced sailors. For around 20 years, SpiClub has organised leisure sailing outings lasting a day or a weekend, with opportunities to enjoy picnics and other adventures on the water.

The club offers both dinghy sailing and cruising. Its light-sailing boats include two Lasers, a Dart 16 and a 420, alongside dinghies owned by members. For coastal cruising, the club has a 9.5-metre Symphonie with five berths, as well as member-owned keelboats. Participation options are designed to suit different needs, with membership available for a day or for a year. Sailing takes place from the Port des Minimes by appointment. SpiClub also holds a regular office hour at the Port Neuf nautical centre in La Rochelle, where members can meet and learn more about joining and sailing.
