Kita Spielhuus Elefant

Spielhuus Elefant is a childcare and early-learning centre in Witikon, Zurich, Switzerland, offering care and educational activities for babies and children up to kindergarten entry. Its approach combines warm, attentive care with age-appropriate learning in a stimulating bilingual German- and English-language environment. Through play, relationships, movement, observation and hands-on exploration, children discover language, numbers, nature and creative expression while building confidence, independence and practical skills.

The centre has two groups designed around children’s different ages and needs. Babies aged three to twelve months receive individual care, security and space for free movement. Children from age two until kindergarten entry take part in shared activities and gradually take on small responsibilities. The programme includes language and communication, numbers and shapes, nature and discovery, cooking and everyday life, music and dance, creative projects, physical activity and teamwork. Clear daily routines are balanced with varied experiences suited to each child’s development. Spielhuus Elefant also offers a pre-kindergarten programme, childcare information and special services such as IAIM infant massage.
