Spindrift Podcast

Spindrift is an award-winning podcast founded and hosted by writer, presenter and audio producer Aoife Glass. Recognised as Best Sports Podcast at the Independent Podcast Awards, it shares stories from across the world of cycling, exploring the rides, adventures and lives shaped by the sport. Each episode features conversations with professional athletes, industry leaders, community builders and everyday adventurers. Topics range from elite competition, including Olympic mountain biking, to motherhood, accessible trails, diversity and women-led spaces in cycling. Listeners can explore episodes and transcripts on the Spindrift website, and hear the podcast on major platforms such as Spotify and Apple Podcasts.

Spindrift is part of Aoife Glass’s wider audio work. The site also introduces Keening, a creative audio project in development with environmental artist Sam Gare. It explores the effects of a 2023 mass whale stranding on Lewis, Scotland, through sound and the experiences of people touched by the event.
