The service uses Mastercard OB Services to connect accounts, and Spiir says these connections are encrypted and that it does not see users’ bank login details or sell their data. The company has announced that Spiir will close on 8 June 2026. Until then, users can access the service and export their information through the app or web version, with simple, advanced and full data-export options available.
