Spire-home Centre

Spire Home is a person-centred organisation in Romford supporting adults with learning disabilities, including people with complex needs, autism spectrum conditions and behaviours that may challenge. Its aim is to promote independence, self-advocacy, personal growth and social interaction in a safe, positive and supportive environment. The organisation uses a Positive Behaviour Support approach, informed by assessment and data, and involves individuals in shaping their own support.

Spire Home offers supported living, live-in care, respite and short breaks, day services and activity days. Support is tailored to each person, helping them develop new skills, maintain existing abilities and work towards their potential. The organisation also provides training and support for families and professionals, alongside an integrated network for caregivers.

The process begins with an assessment of an individual’s needs, followed by recommendations, agreement on placement and costs, and a transition plan developed with the relevant parties. Spire Home describes its services as flexible and designed for a progressive, lifelong learning environment.
