Spirit Horse Centre

Spirit Horse Centre is a registered charity working to bring Indigenous teachings and the knowledge of the horse together in support of healing, respect, and care for the land and all life. Its main operational goal is to establish the Spirit Wild Horse Sanctuary: a protected home where rescued wild horses can live in a natural setting alongside local wildlife, with the land and water safeguarded for future generations. The organization also aims to create an outdoor learning space focused on environmental sustainability, conservation, and local ecology.

Spirit Horse Centre offers traditional horsemanship, equine therapy, and cultural, land-based programming. Its activities encourage respectful relationships between people and horses, emotional well-being, personal growth, and connection with nature. Programs also share traditional knowledge, including teachings from Elders, and help young people learn to care for the land.

The charity is raising funds and seeking grants to purchase land for the sanctuary. Community members can support its mission through donations, volunteering, fundraising, partnerships, and sharing its work.
