Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic, hosted annually at Ann Morrison Park, is a beloved event that has a long and successful history in Boise. This iconic tradition of ballooning in the park was started by Scott Spencer and Kevin Godwin of Townsquare Media, who continued the legacy of the Boise River Festival Hot Air Balloon Rally. The event offers a range of activities, including free tethered rides on Cap Ed Kids Day, an opportunity to meet aeronauts, and a unique Nite Glow spectacular. Please note that public balloon rides are not available during the event, but kids can enjoy a free tethered balloon ride on Cap Ed Kid's Day.
