Lauscha Glaskunst celebrates the glassmaking heritage of Lauscha in the Thuringian Forest, a tradition shaped over more than 400 years. Based at Atelier SpissKist, the brand invites visitors to experience the craft firsthand through hands-on activities and glassworking sessions. Offerings include workshops for making glass beads and marbles, family experiences, children’s birthday events, creative meetups, and individual coaching in shaping glass at the flame.

Sessions range from introductory workshops to full-day experiences, with activities designed for children, families, friends, and individuals. The atelier also presents Lauscha’s wider glassmaking story, including the history of studio glass, industrial glass production, glass beads, glass fibre, and the region’s distinctive marbles. Its programs connect traditional craftsmanship with creative participation, giving guests an opportunity to learn about glass while making their own memories and objects.
