Spitex Grabs-Gams

Spitex Grabs-Gams is a community-based home care association serving residents of the municipalities of Grabs and Gams. Its services help people remain safely and independently at home, including during health challenges or after a hospital stay. Staff provide needs-based treatment and basic nursing care, with an empathetic and competent approach. They also assist with personal care and household tasks, including cleaning when clients can no longer manage it themselves, and can deliver meals to the home. The aim is to support clients’ quality of life and independence in familiar surroundings.

Spitex Grabs-Gams welcomes donations and new members. Membership costs CHF 40 per year and covers all residents living in the same household. Members receive reduced rates for household services, pay no administration fee, and may borrow mobility aids such as a rollator or wheelchair free of charge for one month. The association also invites qualified health care assistants and nursing professionals to apply for current relief positions. Patients can submit service requests through OPAN, its online patient registration service.
