Surf Shak Culture Co. is the home of Jersey Surf School, based at the island’s original surf-school location in St. Ouen’s Bay. Formerly known as Splash Surf Centre, it brings surf instruction, coastal activities and a retail shop together under one roof, with the same team behind both sides of the business.
The school offers surfing lessons for individuals and groups, including school and corporate groups, as well as summer surf camps, kids’ parties and surf clubs for children and adults. Equipment rentals are also available, giving visitors another way to enjoy the water. The programme is designed for a range of ages and group needs, from first surf experiences to regular club sessions.
Next door, the Surf Shak shop is the flagship for VIACY, the company’s own label born in Jersey, alongside selected brands not widely available elsewhere on the island. Surf Shak Culture Co. presents itself as a local surf hub, combining lessons, camps, rentals and community activities with a distinctive Jersey retail offering.
