Sponge Powered

Sponge Powered is an open-source Minecraft: Java Edition modding platform that aims to enhance your Minecraft experience. As a community-driven project, Sponge allows anyone to participate and contribute to its development. Whether you're a Java programmer looking to push the boundaries of the Minecraft community or someone who loves helping others and perfecting documentation, there are various ways for you to get involved.

Sponge offers multiple products and services to cater to different needs. Sponge Vanilla is the implementation of the Sponge API on top of Vanilla Minecraft, recommended for running plugins without Forge mods. On the other hand, Sponge Forge is designed for running plugins alongside Forge mods.

For plugin developers, Sponge API provides the necessary tools to create plugins for the Sponge platform. With its open-source nature, Sponge ensures that most plugins developed using its API will work across different Minecraft versions without requiring frequent updates. Guided by experienced staff from the Minecraft modding community, Sponge Powered aims to combine the strengths of server and client modding communities.
