Sportage Driver is a specialized platform dedicated to all KIA Sportage enthusiasts. Founded by Andreas Hagen, the project started as a fun initiative but quickly gained popularity, attracting a large number of users seeking information about the KIA Sportage. Within just four months, the community grew to 400 registered users, surpassing the initial goal of 200.

As the forum and website continued to thrive, it became evident that the original web server was insufficient to handle the increasing traffic. To accommodate the growing demand, a completely new server system was implemented in 2016, with further upgrades planned for 2017 and beyond. Sportage Driver provides a comprehensive range of resources, from forums and news to tips, installation guides, insurance information, and even videos, ensuring that KIA Sportage drivers have access to all the necessary information and support they need
