The Ligue du Sport Automobile Occitanie Pyrénées (LSAOP) is the official governing body for motorsport in the Occitanie Pyrénées region of France, established in 1973. As a decentralized organization under the Fédération Française du Sport Automobile (FFSA), LSAOP plays a crucial role in coordinating various motorsport activities, promoting education through sports, and supporting local clubs, including 13 Automobile Sports Associations (ASA) and 4 Karting Sports Associations (ASK). The league oversees a diverse range of motorsport disciplines on both asphalt and dirt, such as circuit racing, rallying, hill climbs, slaloms, and drifting, along with karting events.
With approximately 70 events held annually across eight departments, LSAOP fosters a vibrant motorsports culture driven by a dedicated team of trained, volunteer officials, ensuring the smooth operation of all activities in compliance with FFSA regulations. The league serves as a vital link among competitors, officials, and the community, enriching the region's motorsport landscape. For more details, visit their official website
