Welcome to Sportchalet Viehhofen! With our range of apartments, you can enjoy a sporty vacation all year round. Whether you're visiting for skiing, winter hiking, or cross-country skiing in the winter, or cycling, stand-up paddleboarding, or hiking in the summer, our apartments provide the perfect base. Each apartment is equipped with its own balcony, kitchen, and bathroom.

In addition to our comfortable accommodations, Sportchalet Viehhofen offers various facilities for active holidaymakers. During the winter, we have a space for ski sharpening and waxing, and in the summer, we provide a bikewash and workshop for bicycles. We also have a heated ski boot rack that can be used in the summer to quickly dry cycling shoes.

Our cozy Stube on the ground floor features a self-service bar, a game cabinet, and a bookshelf. Viehhofen is located in the Glemmtal in Salzburgerland, Austria. From the Saalbach-Hinterglemm ski area, you can ski directly to our doorstep via slope 168.

Just a short walk away is the new ski lift to Zell am See, granting you easy access to two major ski areas. Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn and Zell am See - Kaprun are well-known and loved by skiers and snowboarders for their endless possibilities. During the summer, the Salzburger Alpen offer plenty of opportunities for hiking and cycling in the surrounding mountains of Saalbach-Hinterglemm.

You can also enjoy climbing in the tree climbing park or explore the many mountain bike trails, both for downhill and trail mountain biking. For road cycling enthusiasts, we can provide GPX files for the most beautiful cycling routes. Nearby towns such as Saalfelden, Zell am See, Kaprun, and Maria Alm offer opportunities for swimming, stand-up paddleboarding, golfing, visiting waterfalls, or exploring the Kitzsteinhorn glacier.
