SportCoach

SportCoach is an Auckland-based sports coaching brand founded by Peter Walters, focused on helping athletes and coaches develop in Touch and Rugby 7s. Its mission is to help people become the athlete or coach they want to be through programmes that build skills, knowledge and understanding. The service caters for a broad range of ages and abilities, from juniors and youth to adults, and works with individuals, groups, schools and teams. Participants may be social or competitive, and programmes can be tailored to specific needs and goals.

SportCoach offers coaching intended to improve performance and support progression, whether someone is new to the sport or already advanced. Its resources also include seminars, a blog and a YouTube channel featuring Touch coaching videos. The brand highlights Peter Walters’ experience as an international Touch player, and says it has engaged with the All Black 7s, Black Ferns 7s and USA Women’s 7s teams as a resource coach. SportCoach encourages a positive attitude and commitment to help clients work toward their sporting ambitions.
