About Sported
Sported is the UK's largest network of community groups dedicated to promoting fairness and creating opportunities for young people through grassroots sports and physical activities. As a charity, Sported works tirelessly to support half a million young individuals in overcoming barriers and reaching their full potential. Our extensive network includes 2,600 grassroots groups, with 45% of them situated in the most deprived areas of the UK.
We welcome any community group that utilizes sports or physical activities to make a positive impact on the lives of young people. Typically, our network consists of small, voluntary-led organizations that often face financial and resource challenges. At Sported, we champion the dedicated local individuals who generously devote their time to running initiatives for the youth in their communities.
