Sportflieger Club Stuttgart

Sportflieger-Club Stuttgart e.V. is a gliding club for people who want to experience flying, learn to fly, or continue soaring as experienced pilots. Its activities welcome a broad range of participants, from beginners and trial passengers to licensed pilots and competition flyers. Visitors can contact the club to arrange a flight, while aspiring glider pilots can find information about training and its process. The club also provides access to its aircraft, including options for pilots seeking a new flying community after moving.

A strong part of club life takes place on the ground. Members carry out maintenance and repairs themselves, with safety remaining a priority, and hold annual winter maintenance to prepare the aircraft for the flying season. The club also supports members who build aircraft and share practical skills. Alongside flying, members contribute to a team-oriented community, take part in events, and share reports about their flights and activities.
