Danmarks Sportsfiskerforbund

Sportsfiskerforeningen Nordborg is a local angling association offering members access to a wide range of fishing waters and opportunities to pursue diverse fish species. Its waters include Nordborg Sø and Mjels Sø, where anglers can fish for pike and other coarse fish; Nordborg Sø also holds zander. The association’s marshes offer opportunities for similar catches, while Ketting Nor is known for its perch and occasional sea trout.

Through its memberships in Gelsåsammenslutningen and Sportsfiskersammenslutningen Sønderåen, the association provides access to river fishing with opportunities to catch salmon, sea trout, brown trout and grayling. It also shares fishing information and encourages members and day-ticket anglers to use its catch-reporting journal, including to record trips without a catch.

Beyond fishing access, Sportsfiskerforeningen Nordborg organizes club evenings at Nordborghus, where members can socialize, exchange advice, tie flies and make spinners. The association also holds fishing events, publishes news and maintains a photo archive and calendar. Membership options include family and individual plans, and the club offers an electric-motor rental service.
