Sports Layne CPL Training

Sports Layne CPL Training provides Michigan Concealed Pistol License instruction near Sand Lake, serving students who want to learn safe, responsible and lawful concealed carry. Operating since 2009, the program is certified through the Michigan Coalition for Responsible Gun Owners (MCRGO) and is designed to meet Michigan CPL training requirements. Instruction is led by a veteran instructor with more than 17 years of CPL teaching experience.

Classes combine classroom education with supervised live-fire practice at a heated indoor range, allowing students to complete training in one location throughout the year. Topics include firearm safety and handling, practical handgun skills, Michigan concealed-carry laws and responsible ownership. The course welcomes both experienced firearm owners and beginners, with an emphasis on patient, respectful instruction. Students who successfully complete the training receive a certificate they can use to apply for a CPL through the county where they reside. The business also offers handguns for rent and sale.
