Sportvisserij GO

Sportvisserij Goeree-Overflakkee (SGO) is a local angling association serving sport fishers on the Dutch island of Goeree-Overflakkee. It provides access to its fishing waters through membership and permits, and supports members with information about regulations, events, competitions and local fishing opportunities. Annual membership starts at €30 and includes a Viskaart; children aged 13 and under can fish for free.

Anglers can also apply for a week permit, priced at €20 plus a €0. 50 administration fee, which includes night fishing and a third rod where permitted. Members with a Viskaart can upgrade to a Viskaart XL for €10, allowing them to fish in SGO waters and those of other participating associations in the Nederlandse Hengelsportorganisatie (NHO).

SGO’s website offers membership and permit applications, a member portal, Viskaart services and updates on association affairs. The association also organizes activities such as youth and predator-fishing competitions, open matches and community fishing days, while inviting volunteers to support its work
