Sprechendes-Herzde

Sprechendes Herz is the personal service of Thomas Schmidt, a certified funeral celebrant and independent speaker serving Mittelfranken, Germany. Guided by a deep interest in people’s life stories, Schmidt approaches each ceremony as a distinctive reflection of the person being remembered. His professional background spans printing, industrial management, training, technical operations and project management, alongside experience as a sound massage practitioner.

The core service is the preparation and delivery of individual funeral speeches and support for memorial ceremonies. Schmidt works with families to discuss their wishes, ideas, thoughts and memories, meeting at their home or another chosen location when possible. His approach is personal, dignified, compassionate and tailored to each family. He is not affiliated with a religious community and generally follows secular, individual principles, while welcoming the inclusion of Christian elements if requested. To offer continued comfort, he can provide the speech in a bound copy for families to keep. Initial contact is usually by phone, and he invites enquiries for further information and guidance.
