Spreekbuis Wildopvang en Dierenambulances is a Dutch partnership representing organizations that transport and care for wild animals in need. Its purpose is to bring the experiences and concerns of wildlife rescue centres and animal ambulances to government, politicians, regulators and the wider public. By combining knowledge, practical feedback and shared priorities, the foundation seeks greater recognition, support and workable, lasting improvements for the sector.

Led independently by Peter van Tulden of Wageningen Bioveterinary Research, Spreekbuis works to connect the organizations and other parties involved. Representatives meet every two weeks to discuss current challenges and determine which issues require attention from national policymakers. Its work addresses matters such as wildlife care and transport rules, avian influenza, zoonotic diseases, invasive species and funding.

The organization also shares news, policy updates and information through its website, and invites sector participants to contribute suggestions through its representatives or contact form. Its initiatives include a pilot for a national basic training course for animal ambulance staff.
