Springhill

Springhill Farm is a BHS-approved equestrian centre in Selattyn, on the Wales–England border near Oswestry and Llangollen. Set above the scenic Ceiriog Valley, the centre offers access to off-road tracks, fields and bridleways, creating a picturesque setting for horse riding. Its services cater to riders of different ages and abilities, from children aged five learning on lead reins to adults and experienced riders.

Lessons include flatwork, general riding and jumping, with group, semi-private and private options available. Springhill Farm is also an official BHS Pony Stars centre, where young people can learn to ride and care for ponies without owning one. Trail rides and riding holidays are available, including unaccompanied teenage holidays for riders aged 11 and over who can walk, trot and canter.

For visitors staying nearby, the farm offers a bunkhouse and two self-catering cottages, each sleeping up to six people. Gift vouchers are also available, making Springhill Farm a destination for riding experiences and rural breaks
