Springs Kendo

Colorado Springs Kendo Kai (CSKK) is a kendo dojo serving practitioners in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The organization brings members together to study and practice kendo, a Japanese martial art, and welcomes people seeking information about beginning their training. Its website provides a beginners’ FAQ, class information, event updates, photos, details about affiliations, and contact information.

CSKK supports both regular dojo practice and opportunities to participate in the wider kendo community. Members have taken part in federation events, including the 21st Longhorn Invitational Team Kendo Taikai and a Southwest Kendo and Iaido Federation examination. The dojo fielded an adult team and had two younger members compete in the individual division for ages 12 to 17. CSKK also shares news about community activities and moments that bring members and their families together. For fall 2026, the site announces a return to practice twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with further details available through its calendar. The dojo also connects with its community through its Facebook presence.
