Spring Talentbegeleiding

Spring Talentbegeleiding is a child and family support practice founded in 2017 by Cilleke van Gijzen-Markslag, a registered youth and family support worker. Since 2015, she has specialized in talent development and giftedness in its many forms. The practice helps children and parents understand individual strengths, different ways of thinking, and intense emotions, and turn these into sources of growth rather than obstacles.

Support is available for concerns involving developmental advancement, suspected giftedness or ADD, high sensitivity, sensory needs, social and emotional development, motivation, and parenting. Services include individual specialist guidance for children up to age 12 and their families, observation and advice for parents and professionals, PeuterSpring for children aged two to four with advanced development, and Positive Discipline guidance for parents of children from birth to age 12.

After an intake conversation, each support plan is tailored in consultation with the family and its needs. Cilleke works with children to identify their qualities, challenges, and what helps, while involving parents and, where possible, the child’s school or childcare setting.
