Sosiaali- ja terveyspalvelut Tasku Oy is a privately owned child welfare provider based in Central Finland. Its specialist residential care units support children and young people who need professional expertise, comprehensive care, and rehabilitation. Tasku is equipped to work with young people who do not require inpatient psychiatric treatment but benefit from close psychiatric expertise as part of their rehabilitation.

The company’s services include assessment, residential care, and individually planned rehabilitation. During assessment periods, a multidisciplinary team builds and documents a broad picture of each young person’s circumstances. In everyday care, staff draw on the individual’s strengths and work towards goals agreed together, aiming to create a smoother daily life while nurturing hope and personal aspirations. The young person’s best interests and individual voice guide the work, which is grounded in Finnish child welfare legislation and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.

Tasku operates two seven-place specialist units, Liekki and Loiste, in Laukaa. Their setting offers access to outdoor activities, local schools, and community amenities.
