ŠPUNTI VE VODĚ

Špunti ve vodě is a children’s swimming program in Prague that introduces babies and young children to water while supporting their psychomotor development. Families can begin swimming during the preschool years, with courses available for children from a fully healed navel through age six. The program offers baby bathing sessions at home for infants from around six weeks to six months, infant swimming for ages six to twelve months, and swimming for toddlers aged one to six. Home visits are available for bathing sessions, with guidance provided to families.

Pool courses take place at locations including Prague-Anděl and Hotel Pawlownia in Prague 8. Lessons are 30 minutes long, and courses generally include ten sessions; class sizes are limited to five children. The website provides seasonal schedules, prices, booking information, and details about make-up lessons and course rules. It also answers practical questions about pool conditions, changing rooms, swimwear, and accompanying adults, helping parents prepare for their child’s first experiences in the water.
