SPYDER

SPYDER by XtremeX is a boutique self-drive roadster brand launching from the Wellington region of New Zealand. Created by the team behind XtremeX Supercar Experiences, it offers two-seat cars for people who want the drive itself to be a memorable part of their trip—not simply a way to get somewhere. Its initial fleet features two distinctive roadsters: the BMW Z4, with a naturally aspirated straight-six, rear-wheel drive and a folding hardtop, and the Porsche Boxster, with a mid-engined layout and naturally aspirated flat-six.

Customers can choose an escape lasting four hours, a full day, 24 hours, 48 hours or up to 14 days, then select a Bronze, Silver or Gold Drive Plan to match their preferred kilometre allowance and level of convenience. The booking process includes choosing a car, duration and plan, followed by driver checks and vehicle collection. SPYDER is also developing curated road-trip ideas featuring suggested routes, stops and places to stay, with destinations such as Martinborough, Wairarapa, Napier and the central North Island in mind.
