About СПЖ
The Union of Orthodox Journalists (UOJ), known by its Ukrainian abbreviation СПЖ, is a religious news and commentary organization covering the Orthodox Church and broader Christian life. Its website reports on church events, disputes, social and political developments, and alleged pressure on believers and religious institutions in Ukraine and around the world. Coverage is organized into sections including news, defense of the faith, people and the Church, history and culture, questions for a priest, opinion, blogs, polls, and social media.
The site also publishes an Orthodox church calendar, lighter material, and stories from regions it identifies as hotspots. Readers can browse content in several languages and find editions or coverage connected with countries including Greece, Germany, Serbia, Georgia, Bulgaria, Albania, the United States, and others. The organization invites users to submit blog posts and provides donation information.
Its website notes that contributors’ views may differ from the editorial position and permits quotation when the original article is openly linked in the first paragraph of the republication
