Square Group overkoepelt een reeks bedrijven die ontstaan zijn uit de groei van Aclagro. Deze groei werd zowel gerealiseerd door interne groei als externe acquisities. Square Group is voornamelijk actief in Vlaanderen maar ontwikkelt zich steeds meer richting Brussel en Wallonië. De 'groene' draad doorheen de activiteitsdomeinen van de groep zijn enerzijds de synergiën tussen de verschillende takken en vennootschappen en anderzijds een sterk accent op duurzaam ondernemen. Square Group zoekt voortdurend naar het maximaliseren van de recyclagestromen: •Vertrekkende van de aannemersactiviteiten van Aclagro (wegenissen, afbraak, bodemsanering) worden de afvalstromen omgezet in secondaire grondstoffen in de recyclagecentra van AC Materials (sites te Wondelgem, Desteldonk, Puurs, Brugge, Vlierzele) en hergebruikt voor de heraanleg van infrastructuurwerken. •Het grondreinigingscentrum (deel van Aclagro) verwerkt de verontreinigde gronden van de bodemsanering. •Bij Oryx Projects streeft men naar het hergebruiken van ecologische of juridische brownfields voor de ontwikkeling van stedelijke projecten. •DD Shipping is als laatste de groep komen vervoegen. Transport per water voor AC Materials en het grondreinigingscentrum is een belangrijke troef. •Square Group nv staat als Shared Service Center in voor de ondersteunende dienstverlening aan alle bedrijven van Square Group. .
