About Squid Pay
Squid Pay is a financial infrastructure platform designed to help AI agents make and manage payments under human-defined controls. Its software enables agents to use wallets, cards, bank accounts, and cryptocurrency to pay, transfer funds, and carry out other financial tasks. Developers can integrate Squid into different agent stacks through developer APIs, a TypeScript SDK, MCP, and agent skills.
Users can create agent wallets and set budgets, per-transaction limits, and approved destinations. Agents can then propose payments or purchases, while a human reviews and approves the transaction. Squid says it records activity after server-side and on-chain verification. The platform highlights use cases including vendor payments, controlled spending, and conditional stock trading, and lists support across Base, Solana, and Tempo.
Squid is currently in private beta and is inviting prospective users to join its waitlist for early access to agent wallets, cards, and programmable payments. The company describes itself as a crypto financial services platform, not a bank, and notes that some services may be provided through third-party partners.
