The Saudi Red Crescent Authority (SRCA) is a Saudi government organization dedicated to emergency healthcare and humanitarian services. Its mission is to save lives and ease suffering through efficient, professional ambulance care delivered by qualified personnel and supported by modern equipment. The authority provides emergency response services, including air ambulance support for urgent cases and medical transfers between health facilities, and encourages the public to use its Asafni application.

Beyond frontline response, SRCA supports first-aid training for community members, volunteer participation, and public awareness programs. Its initiatives include the Little Paramedic, First Responder, and Life Ambassador programs, as well as a Family Links Reconnection program that helps relatives reconnect after separation caused by conflict, disasters, migration, or other circumstances. The authority also offers digital services for individuals, government entities, and private-sector organizations, including training certificates, idea submissions, data-sharing requests, and ambulance-service standards certification. Through partnerships, innovation, training, and community engagement, SRCA works to strengthen emergency care in line with Saudi Arabia’s health-sector transformation goals and Vision 2030.
