The SRP-IMG (Syndicat Représentatif Parisien des Internes de Médecine Générale) is a volunteer-led union representing more than 1,200 general practice medical interns in the Île-de-France region. It focuses exclusively on this group, informing, assisting, representing, and defending interns throughout their training. Its website brings together practical guidance on the regional general practice residency, including university programs, rotations, work schedules, pay, leave, on-call duties, housing, disability, parental leave, and professional rights.

Interns can also find information about research opportunities, further training, post-residency pathways, replacement work, and setting up practice, as well as job listings and support for those experiencing difficulties. The SRP-IMG organizes welcome events, webinars, forums, and peer-mentoring initiatives to help interns navigate training and connect with one another. It also shares updates on workplace issues, collective action, and developments affecting medical practice.

Membership provides access to member resources and partner offers, while supporting the union’s work on behalf of general practice interns across Île-de-France
