About SRQ housechurch
SRQ Housechurch is a vibrant faith community dedicated to transformation and deep relationships through the teachings of Jesus Christ. Founded by Bill and Kay Dunn and Tom and Pam Gurrentz, this ministry began in a living room and has since expanded across Sarasota, including the unique "Beach Church" initiative. Emphasizing active fellowship, SRQ organizes diverse gatherings that blend worship with community fun—think food truck nights, games, and outdoor activities, often in scenic settings where dolphins have been known to join in on worship.
Under the leadership of Lenz and Sydney Daniel, SRQ also focuses on serving local families through initiatives like Bridge a Life CarePortal. The leadership team passionately fosters a dynamic environment where faith is not just preached but lived out in engaging and relevant ways, inspiring members to bring positive change to their community. With dedicated leaders and volunteers across various house churches in different locations, SRQ Housechurch continues to embody the spirit of Jesus and extend God's vision for Sarasota.
